McKenzie Pineda - Editor

McKenzie is a senior English major with a minor in education. She works at the Writing Center and is a Schreiner Ambassador. McKenzie wants to teach high school English, however, in the future, she wants to become a copy editor. In her free time, she likes to read, write bad poetry, and watch classic films.

Rebekah Newell - Editor

Rebekah is an English major with a minor in marketing. Rebekah is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but lived in Bandung, Indonesia for seven years before moving to Kerrville to attend Schreiner University. Rebekah wants to work for a publishing company after graduation, either on her way up as a copy editor or in their marketing department. She loves exploring new things from poetry to camping spots

 

Keirstin Pratt - Designer

Keirstin is a sophomore communication design major with a minor in photography. She is currently building a tiny house and strives to travel the world. She is the owner of her own business, KGP Photo. On the side, Keirstin creates fine art.

Addison Hutchings - Designer

Addison is a senior at Schreiner University. She is majoring in mathematics and minoring in photography. Throughout her time at Schreiner, she excelled in her classes and has been recognized for her photography skills. Once she graduates, she hopes to explore other parts of the world and attain a master’s degree in mathematics. One day she hopes to use her photography and math skills to become a risk analysis.

 Sally Hannay - Faculty Advisor 

Professor Sally Hannay earned her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Iowa's Writer's Workshop.  She has been teaching writing for 30 years, and when she has some creative energy to spare, she writes poetry. Her collection of poetry, They Aren't Your Ducks, will be published by Resource Publishing in spring of 2020. This fall she began her 15th year teaching for Schreiner University. She loves the romantic and modern poets, long hikes with her husband and her dog, and musical theater.
